Glad you escaped that fire. We had some massive forest fires when we lived in Idaho, but nothing that close or that intense. I got a message from myspace that you are there now. My daughter has an account with them, but she hasn't, as far as I know these days which may not be much. Its registered in my name though. I'll put a little entry on my blog. We live in a heavily wooded rural area as well, and the thought of fire always terrifies me. We sit on a slab of granite so earthquakes aren't going to do much, but the slightest spark and we could lose everything.
